In the past couple of days, Mikaela's first tooth has popped in on the bottom. We noticed it first on Friday, June 25. She keeps sticking her tongue out so we have no pictures but we have certainly felt that sharp thing! I think others are close behind because she is running a slight fever and is cranky.
Another milestone for Mikaela has been the use of a sippy cup. Since she turned six months, we have given her a sippy cup with water just for her to get used to it after she finishes her food, but it wasn't until Saturday that we really noticed her actually drinking from it. It still serves more as a teething tool than a beverage container, but when the mood strikes her, she really drinks.
