New York, Part 6: Rockefeller Center

After we got a view from the top, we came back down to see the sights from the ground.  The tree was up but they were putting the lights on while we were there.

New York, Part 5: Top of the Rock

Friday morning we made our first stop at Rockefeller Center for a view of the city from the "Top of the Rock."  We would do Empire State Building later in the day, but this was an amazing view and a wonderful experience.  I "highly" recommend it.

 The next couple of shots are what it looks like straight down.  Actually, from our vantage point, you couldn't see this directly.  Mike stuck his arm out through the glass partitions and pointed the camera down to get these shots.

New York, Part 4: Godspell

Thanksgiving night after a delicious dinner at my cousin's apartment, we went to see Godspell, which was the whole reason this New York adventure started.  It was an amazing show.  The entire cast is incredibly talented.  If I could afford it, I would go back again, just to see this show.  Google it and see some highlights for yourself.  You will not be disappointed!  We had so much fun.

New York, Part 3: Central Park

After the parade, we crossed the street and sat down for a long time. (Our feet were tired from 5 hours of standing.)  Then we took a stroll through the southern half of Central Park.  We didn't even make it to the lake in the middle.  This place is huge!  We also grabbed some street vendor food, yummy New York hotdogs.

New York, Part 2: Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

We woke up before the sun on Thanksgiving morning to watch the parade.  We found a good spot at 71st and Central Park West and after standing for 2 1/2 hours, the parade finally started.  It was amazing.  It was super crowded, but a fun experience nonetheless.
