Merry Christmas to All...

Here are some photos of our house decorated for Christmas. My favorite decoration is the tree itself so that is why we have three in our house. One is our main family tree with a plethora of ornaments. One is the SFA tree (purple and white), and the third is the M&M tree. We decorated the outside of our house this year for Christmas too thanks to Mike's folks who gave us lights with which to decorate. You'll see the SFA tree in the window on the right and the M&M tree in the window on the left. The two green dots in the center of our picture are the eyes of our dog who peered through the glass door to see what we were doing.family tree and mantle

Hope everyone has a joyous season as we celebrate the birth of our Savior! Merry Christmas, everyone!

On Break

Well, now that I'm on break from school for 2 weeks maybe I'll post a little more. Maybe... not much is going on in our lives that is worthy of blogging, but maybe Cocoa Bean (our dog) will do something cute. Anyway - we're still here and that's all she wrote...

Our New Furniture

About a year ago, we put some furniture on layaway and now we have it. Well, most of it. We are still waiting for the barstools. It all has the "Texas" theme. We never thought ourselves to be the kind who'd buy this kind of furniture, but we absolutely love it.
Above is the picture of our of our endtables. Since we bought our house over 2 years ago, we'd been using tray tables. We bought two, but have decided we will purchase one more when we pick up our barstools.

Here is our entertainment center. It has a shelving unit for both sides but we could only fit one side in the space. The left side is in the kitchen storing cookbooks and other necessities. And as you can see from the picture below, it is quite large and makes our t.v. seem quite small. Maybe next year Santa will bring us a bigger t.v. But for now, we are happy with what we have.

And here's our table. This is by far my most favorite piece. We love it so much we keep it exceptionally clean so you can see the gorgeous marble/tile inlay. Our last table was always cluttered.

Testing, Testing

So after almost 5 years of marriage, we're finally getting into this "blogging" thing. We hope to make this a fun way for all of our friends and family to keep up with the happenings of our lives. Please bear with us as we learn the ropes in order to make this a fun read.

And so, with a mild case of writer's block, we begin the journey of cataloging these "Moreland moments."
