Monthly Post

So apparently this has become a monthly blog. Sorry for the wait, but at least there's plenty to read/see. Since the last blog:
Valentine's Day and the last of February shots:

We wanted to take a family shot since we were all color coordinated but Mikaela was much more interested in Daddy's red M&M tie than anything else so this was the best shot we got.

Here she is either counting or doing "Itsy Bitsy Spider"
playing in her exersaucer
Our church had Nursery Rhyme night so Mikaela got to take her picture with Mother Goose.

Mikaela is 4 months old (actually 4 1/2):
We had her 4 month appointment on March 16th. she is 25 3/4 inches long, 11 lbs 6 oz, and 15 3/4 head circumference. Though her weight is still tiny, she ins consistently growing along her curve so she is doing well. Long and lean like her parents. She didn't get shots though becuase she had her first ear infection. Shots will be in a couple of weeks. While recovering from this infection, Mikaela and Mommy spent days at Graem-ma and Graempa's while Daddy fixed the water heater at our house. Oh the joys of home ownership. Well, everything is back up and running and we are home. Here are some more events from the past month:
We've introduced rice cereal to Mikaela. She doesn't seem to be a big fan, but it's getting her used to what will be coming next. She does like her high chair though.

On March 11, she finally mastered rolling over from back to belly. We have video but are experiencing technical difficulties. However, since learning to roll over, she is constantly trying to sit up now. Whenever we put her on her back she does little crunches in an effort to sit up.

Here's McCutie, in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

And finally, some other random shots from the past month:
