We decided to head down to the harbor to see the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. My cousin suggested riding the Staten Island Ferry. It was free, took about an hour, and drove us right by Lady Liberty. We were able to see her a little more up close, as well as get beautiful views of the city. It was approaching sunset, so that was a nice touch.
