Renovations

For the past several months we've been remodeling our upstairs. For those who've never seen our house, we have this "bonus" room upstairs. It's not really big but it serves as our office. It also has a full bath up there. This renovation was sparked by the fact that we wanted to pull the carpet up in the bathroom (what were they thinking?) and put down tile. Then we decided to tile the entire space. That was the bulk of the project. We also took the door frame out and just made it an alcove. We moved a light switch, painted, and put in new baseboards. Well, Mike did that part. We have a few more cosmetic things to do in the bathroom eventually (new hardware, etc) and Mike will eventually build in some shelving in the new "alcove" (doorless closet) but it's a functional room again and we love it. I have some before, during and after shots. The before shots are when we moved in so the furniture is different now, but we've actually had the furniture for awhile. Enjoy the pictures.
